However, one of my favorite reasons for running a Linux-based e-mail system with open source software is the amount of information and the hundreds of powerful programs and utilities available to make this responsibility much easier. An Oracle Collaboration Suite installation requires database schemas for three products: Portal, Mail, and Content Services. The Portal schemas are the standard schemas found in any Oracle Application Server infrastructure database; the Mail and Content Services schemas are specific to the Oracle Collaboration Suite. The Portal schemas are PORTAL, PORTAL_APP PORTAL_DEMO, and PORTAL_PUBLIC. , These are preconfigured to support user access to the Oracle Collaboration Suite portlets, and you can adjust them to your own requirements through the Portal configuration tools.
